This is my HS friend. She has been doing my hair since shortly after we graduated HS and also does the boys' hair as well. For the boys, I really enjoy the time she takes in their hair cut bc a lot of people just rush w/childrens. She also does a great job w/my hair. So check her out if you want a good deal on a hair cut.

I am officially divorced. I got the papers in the mail yesterday. They were signed Sept 9th. I don't have any regrets. I feel bad for the boys at times bc I know they will never have a normal life, but I'm praying that they will have a healthier life through all of this. I do believe that at least Jaden is having a hard w/everything right now so if you could just continue to keep us all in your prayers. The journey has just begun.

My church is doing a out reach for the month of October on the bumper sticker "coexist". The first week he will actually be reading from other religions "bibles" and compare their gods to the God. That's the week that I'm most looking forward to. I just think it's awesome that he has the courage to actually do this. If you ever wanted to know what to say when people say we should just coexist or if you just wanted to check out my church, which BTW is now called Radiant Life, October is the month to come!

First Day

Jaden had his 1st day of preschool on Tuesday. He was excited, and the teacher said he did rather well. He's going twice a week.

As you can see, Asher wasn't that thrilled about leaving brother at preschool. He wasn't happy this morning either but less unhappy than the first time. We've had a good time just hanging out together. I'm kinda glad we get this time. I had a yr w/just Jaden, but Asher has never had just mommy. So, it's kinda nice to be able to share this time w/him. I am trying to think of things that we can do to make him feel less left out. Maybe we'll do a story time at the local library?

Labor Day

So, for some odd reason my family has changed the labor day tradition of doing a cook out and hanging out as a family to going to Michigan Adventure. While Jaden may enjoy it, Asher would hate it and then there's always the issue of money. So, for the second year in a row, the boys and I have spent labor day by ourselves. I thought about taking them to the movies but there was nothing new out that they could see. I thought about taking them to the beach, but Asher would have hated that as well. So, I decided to take them to the Rivertown Mall. They both enjoy the indoor play area so off to GR we went.

I got some really good deals on shirts which may complete the boys' wardrobes for fall/winter. The boys had pretzels for lunch which is one of their favorite things to do. I had an orange julious which I miss. It was a pretty good day.
