3 and 2

The boys had their yrly check-ups today.
Jaden

He weighs 40lbs and is 38.5ins. He is in the 97% for his weight, 75% for his height and 85% for his head. He is being referred to a allergist bc we have yet to find the perfect combination to control his allergies. Other than that and the fact that he doesn't eat enough vegetables, he's doing fine.
Asher

He weighs 30lbs and is 33.5ins. He is in the 70% for his weight and 25% for his height (LOL...short and fat :P), and 50% for his head. The doctor said he looks perfectly healthy.
So, they both are doing well for the most part. I should have an appointment date for the allergist w/in a few days, and Jaden will go to the ENT and eye specialist in again August. He's currently still on track for eye surgery when he turns 5.

Newest Addition

This morning, around 7A, Bethany called to tell me she was having the baby...YAY! So, I called my boss to tell her I wouldn't be coming in. Luckily the boys were already going to their daddy's, so I dind't have to worry about them. I went to pick up a few things and headed to the hospital. She was doing pretty good, but around 11A, she was getting some strong contractions and decided to get an epidural. While in the waiting room waiting for that to happen, I ran into a girl that I used to work with. She and I caught up, and she told me that my good friend was working today. So, I ran over to the main hospital for lunch w/my friend, even though she got called away, so it really ended up being me and some of the girls from Respiratory :P Around 12:30, I decided I should head back to Bethany. The nurse was in resituating her and stuff. Her midwife came in, and said she was ready to start pushing...talk about timing!! So, around 1, Bethany started pushing, and Jacob was born at 2:15 (not bad for a first time mom!). He weighed 6.148lbs and was 20.25ins long. He's super skinny, got the smallest face and ears, but his arms and legs are long and his feet and hands are big. Too cute though, simply too cute! I cried!! It was my first time watching an actual birth, and it really is moving (or atleast I thought so). I have better pictures on my camera, tons actually, but of course the cord for that is still at the house, but here's what I have for now:

done

Not done unpacking, but pretty much done moving...YAY! Jon showed up last night w/George, another guy from my old church. The guys each had a truck so we got Jaden's bed, my bed, and the couch moved. Then this morning, Brian showed up at 8:30, and then (even though I was only expecting Josh), Crystal, Josh, and their friend Brian, whom has never met me, showed up. So, we had a jeep, van, and truck to work with. And, even though the only rooms packed at that time were my bedroom and bathroom, by noon we had all the moving done! There's still a few odds and ends and cleaning to be done, but in all practicality, I'm done moving. Unpacking on the other hand, not even close :P I spent all afternoon picking up my washer and dryer that were given to me off of freecycle and finding lamps for all the rooms bc there aren't any ceiling lights. I'm currently laying in bed w/a heating pad bc my back is KILLING me, watching a dvd bc I don't have cable yet, and waiting to throw another load of laundry in. All in all, it was the BEST move, far above and beyond what I had hoped for!!!

And here I thought it was just me.

All I can say is, praise God for friends!!! So, I hate hate hate moving, and what I hated even more, was the thought of moving all by myself. I did get my mom to watch the boys this wkend, so I could get stuff done. I'd called my friend Crystal to see what she was doing this wkend, but she was booked already. Then she called me minutes later saying that her husband felt bad that I didn't have any help, and HE was going to come Sunday and help me move. Course, Brian didn't really have a choice, I voluteered him for him...lol. Then, I called my babysitter Lisa, to see if she could watch the boys either Wednesday or Thursday (my days off of work), so that I could finish up moving/cleaning, and her husband offers to come help! So, as I type, Jon is on his way, picking up another guy whom I don't think I even know, to come help me move a load over tonight!!! Again, all I can say is PRAISE God for friends!!!

More Good News!!

So, I just got the call that I got the townhome I wanted!!! I sign the paper's today :) And, one of the specials they're running is one month free, so this month is pro-rated, but next month is free!! So, that gives me a month to save up and catch up on things...YAY!
I think I'll be moving Asher into a toddler's bed as well. I figure, now would be the time to do it if I'm going to do it, right? So, I'll be looking for a bed this wkend. Wish me luck :)
And, thanks for all the prayers, and again, HUGE thanks to God for seeing me through!
